Harry, had a real interest in film and had even written a few scripts.
This one was for a short film called
"Bong Mr. Bong", based on the poem "Dirge" by Kenneth Pearing.
Harry was friends with jazz great
Bud Freeman who agreed to do the score. You can see at the bottom of the first page the other musicians he had lined up. Sadly, this one never was completed.
Notice that he also had
Arny Freeman as a principal actor
and Allen Swift on board as well as the narrator. Allen was known as one of the hosts/performers of WPIX
New York's Popeye Show,
The voice of Simon Bar Sinister on the Underdog Cartoon and also for doing many of the character voices on the Rankin/Bass Halloween classic,
"Mad Monster Party".
